BC2 Assignments 4 November 2018
November 4, 2018
Latin Word of the Week: donum (DOH-noom) – gift. This verb form of this word is probably already familiar to us, as it appears in prayers, often, “dona nobis pacem.” I’m sure you can all think of of a very common derivative word in English that is used often in the church that is derived from this word. No, not donut.
Notes: You do not need to read past page 80 in this Lesson, although you may. We discussed some of the terms used here (schism, heresy, apostasy) in Lesson 11, and I quizzed you on them (as Bonus material only!) but feel free to read it if you like. I won’t be including any of it on any quiz except perhaps future Bonus material.
Classwork: Finish up Lesson 12, discuss Christendom Lunch A.D. MMXVIII.
Homework: Review Lesson 12 (always review all past Lessons!). Read ahead to Lesson 13. We will only have one class on Lesson 13!
