Latin Word of the Week: miles (MEE-lays) – soldier.  The common root of this word lives on in many of our own derivitaves, such as military, militia, militant, etc.  Today is Veterans’ Day, hence our Latin Word of the Week.

Notes:  We have a lot to discuss about Christendom Day A.D. MMXVIII.  Thankfully our Lesson for this week, Lesson 13, is very small.  We only have ONE lesson for this lesson instead of the usual two.  As today’s class will be our only treatment of Lesson 13, it is imperative (as it always is!) for you to study the lessons at home.
