Latin Word(s) of the Week: quatuor (KWA-twor) – four. There are forms of this in Latin and derivatives of it in English – quadrangle, quartet, quarter.

Notes: Today is Quadragesima, or the first Sunday of Lent. Officially, the Sundays of Lent aren’t part of Lent proper, but they are of the liturgical season of Lent. We don’t fast on Sundays in Lent, for example.

Classwork: As mentioned last week, we’ll get back on track by quizzing and starting Lesson 19 today.

Homework: Review Lesson 19. As always, review all past lessons, too.
