Latin Word(s) of the Week: cibus (CHEE-boos) – food. Although there probably are surely many derivatives of this word, I came up empty trying to think of any. Still, while fasting during Lent, my mind is on food quite frequently.

Notes: I hope everyone continued studying over the “Spring break.” There’s no way to keep up with the class, and with our responsibilities as Catholics if we rely solely on 45 minutes to one hour on the sometimes Sundays in class. We must do more!

Classwork: We’ll finish Lesson 19 today.

Homework: Read ahead to Lesson 20. As always, review all past lessons! As is clear from the quizzes, we all need to learn our questions and answers better.
