Latin Word(s) of the Week: ver (VEHR) – spring, as in the season. There are many related Latin words, and some derivates. The one that comes to mind is of course vernal.

Notes: As noted on our last class, 14 May, we were supposed to next have class on May 5th. Unfortunately, that class was cancelled due to the very fun church picnic. Our time for this year is running short! We haven’t had class for three weeks. Our schedule has been extended until June 9th to compensate for all the missed classes. So, we have a short class today due to 1st Communion, 5/19, (no class 5/26), 6/2 and 6/9. We also were supposed to have a Lesson 20 quiz at our next class, which would be today, however, I do not think it is a good use of our time to try to squeeze that in.

I will have a combined Lesson 20/21 Quiz when we are all more adequately prepared. Please do your part, by reading each day. Go back through Lesson 20, and also read Lesson 21. By 6/2, we shall have 220 minutes of studying at 10 minutes per day… 5.5 hours at 15 minutes per day! You get the idea.

Classwork: We start Lesson 21 today.

Homework: Review Lesson 20 and study Lesson 21.
