Latin Word(s) of the Week: grates (GRAH-tays) – thanks. Thanksgiving is fast approaching. We can never thank God enough for all that He has given to us though it is all unmerited on our parts.

Bible Reading: Isaias 45:5, Matthew 28:19

Classwork: We study “Lesson 3 – The Unity and the Trinity of God” today. We did a very quick overview last class, which I hope prepared you to study it on your own. Remember to keep the “big picture” in mind. We learned in Lesson 1 that the Apostles’ Creed contains the truths of our faith. So the first third of our catechism follows the Apostles’ Creed. “I believe in God…” and so we are learning about God (after first learning a little something about ourselves and our purpose)

Homework: Study Lesson 3. We have our next class on 11/29. That’s the Sunday after Thanksgiving. So use your time to study Lesson 3!!
