BC2 Assignments 23 September 2018

September 23, 2018

Latin Word of the Week: gladius (GLAH-dee-oos) – sword.  There is a common derivative of this word in English — gladiator!  It means the same in Latin and in English, really, that is, one who wields a sword.  We however we often associate the word gladiator specifically with images of the Roman coliseum.

Notes:  We will talk about Christendom Lunch!  Or Should we call it Christendom Brunch? 🙂  Should we number them like Super Bowls?  Christendom Lunch II.  Or Christendom Lunch  A.D. MMXVIII?

Classwork: We pick up from last class (two weeks ago).  Lesson 10 is pretty huge, if you recall.

Homework: Review Lesson 10 (always review all past Lessons!).  Skim ahead to Lesson 11!
