BC2 Assignments 10 February 2019
February 10, 2019
Latin Word(s) of the Week: mensis (MEHN-sees) – month. I wanted to introduce you to this word, and some time words in general, as we are just in the very early days before the Lenten cycle begins. There are many days which derive their names from the time or from numbers, so it’s good to have some useful time-based vocabulary handy.
Notes: Last week, we weren’t able to have class due to no one being there, except the brave Anthony. We had a quiz scheduled for Lesson 16, which will do today. We also missed our one and only class scheduled to do Lesson 17, since it is a relatively short Lesson. Please read Lesson 17 on your own. I may try to speed through it today, but we also need to start Lesson 18 as planned.
Classwork: Today we start Lesson 18 after the Lesson 16 Quiz.
Homework: Review Lesson 17 on your own, since we probably did not have adequate time to read it together. As always, review all past lessons. Especially study our current Lesson 18, which we continue next week.
