BC2 Assignments 13 Dec 2020

Latin Word(s) of the Week: omnipotentia (ohm-nee-poh-TAYN-tsee-ah) – almighty. We recently learned about the perfections of God. This word, which we translate as almighty (or the cognate omnipotent), literally means “all powerful”.

Bible Reading: Daniel 7:10, Matthew 26:53

Classwork: Lesson 4, Creation and the Angels. Remember the big picture! In the first third of the our book, we adopt the context “The Creed” and as we move along with the thoughts expressed in that prayer, we study.

“I believe in God, Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth.”

The Purpose of Man’s Existence -> God and His Perfections -> The Unity and Trinity of God -> Creation and the Angels

Homework: Review all past Lessons, and study Lesson 4
